There is so much going on in neonates and infants as their physiology is shifting from in-utero to ex-utero that it can be very confusing.  The plan for this episode is to discuss the physiologic changes and congenital defects that lead to cyanosis, when and how to screen, the timeframe of presentation and physical exam findings, and surgical repair timing.
