It has been a hot minute since I did a psychiatry podcast from the blueprint. Full disclosure….it is not my strong suit. On top of that, the double topic months are hard to crank out two quality podcasts and, unfortunately, psychiatry has suffered. So for the 2nd podcast of May, I am going to cover the screening tools for some of the more common psychiatry conditions we encounter in clinical practice.

Since the blueprint for neuro is not very extensive and the pathophysiology can get pretty complicated, I figured I would do a quick and dirty review of headaches. Hit the blueprint specific topics, review red flag findings, who to scan, and how to treat.
So, back in 2016 on episode #11, I reviewed the cyanotic congenital heart diseases and said I would (at some point) cover the acyanotic lesions. Well, my friends, the time has come. For the pediatrics topic of 2020, I will review the big four acyanotic CHD (VSD, ASD, PDA, CoA) on the pediatric EOR and PANCE blueprint to wrap this topic up.
