Pneumonia is a common condition in not only the outpatient and ER setting, but also the hospital.  It is associated with significant mortality and prompt identification and early treatment will help prevent complications and progression to sepsis.  This episode will review the classifications, pathogens, signs and symptoms, physical exam findings, testing, risk stratification, and treatment of pneumonias.
