This episode is designed to review the Joint National Committee (JNC) 8th edition in for hypertension management.  I will discuss the 3 key clinical questions and the 9 practice recommendations set forth by this committee.  I also breakdown the SPRINT trial in regards to intensive management of higher risk patients and whether or not it is practice changing.
